Summary: As a PHP Intern, you will be part of our dynamic software development team, assisting in the design, development, and maintenance of our web applications. Responsibilities and Duties:

The candidate will be responsible for the following activities on an ongoing basis:

  1. Assist in the development and maintenance of web applications using PHP, MySQL, and other web technologies.
  2. Collaborate with senior developers to understand project requirements and contribute to the development lifecycle.
  3. Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code.
  4. Participate in code reviews to understand best practices and improve coding skills.
  5. Assist in troubleshooting and fixing bugs in existing applications.
  6. Contribute to the creation of documentation for software solutions.
  7. Engage in team meetings and contribute to development strategies.
  8. Publish your learning under NexGi blogs for your fellow learners.

Educational Qualifications:

We focus on skills but if you’ve got a CS/IT diploma or degree. It will help you to get additional preference if your performance gets tied with other candidates.

Skills and Qualifications:

  1. Basic understanding of PHP and MySQL.
  2. Understanding with HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and jQuery.
  3. Eagerness to learn and work with various web development technologies.
  4. Basic knowledge of Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) concepts.
  5. Good problem-solving and analytical skills.
  6. Ability to work in a team and contribute to collaborative environments.
  7. Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Self Assessment Checklist:

  1. You must have done 2 mock projects with full CRUD application with the use of sessions.
  2. This code must be hosted on any free or paid server. you can use 000webhost kind of free hosting.
  3. The project must be running locally as you may asked to review the code and make real time changes.
  4. More mock projects will increase your chances of getting selected for this program.
  5. You must follow PHP standard checklist e.g https://developer.wordpress.org/coding-standards/
  6. Your DSA (Data Structure Algo) must be good in any one language.
