Member of Technical Staff- [ 0-2 yr]

Your Role

•  Develop a deep understanding of complex distributed systems, and debug customer production clusters in real time. Be able to feed learnings back into the product.
• Work closely with development, test, documentation and product management teams to improve the quality of products in a fast-paced environment.
• Engage with customers and support teams to debug and solve production issues.
• Majority (~70%) of the time goes into reading existing code to debug customer reported problems;
• Design and develop tools to debug issues faster and improve serviceability of the product

What You Will Bring

•  Strong analytical skills with good aptitude.
• Love for debugging and good code reading skills in any one of these languages: C++, C, Python
• Working experience in Linux with good troubleshooting skills
•  Passion for troubleshooting complex distributed systems.
• Team player that works well in fast-paced situations and startup environments
•  Bachelor’s or Master’s in Computer Science or Mathematics field.
• 0-2 years of relevant industry experience.
•  Experience with multi-threading and event-driven programming is a plusDevelopment experience in file systems, operating systems, database back-ends, distributed systems management is a plus
