Full Stack Engineer

About this role

We’re building our founding team and are looking for a full stack developer who can take ownership of one stream of product development. Your primary roles and responsibilities will evolve over time as the team grows. These will include:

• Taking ownership of building the backend and/or frontend parts of the product, depending on the product you are working on
• Understanding code quality, maintainability, modularity and scalability
• Break down large tasks into independent smaller chunks
• Implementing good testing practices to ensure rapid iteration
• Communicating with both technical and non-technical stakeholders (including clients) to understand their points of view and to discuss your own ideas
• Manage and mentor a few junior developers
• Available to work late nights because a majority of our clients are based in the US

Key qualifications

• 2-5 years of experience
• Capable of building full stack web applications with minimal guidance
• Proficiency in at least one of a.Python and b.Javascript (nodejs and frameworks like React or Vue3)/HTML/CSS (tailwind), while being comfortable with the other
• Experience building event driven & asynchronous systems
• Comfortable with linux, setting up servers, installing packages, shell scripting, etc
• Knowledge of cloud computing is mandatory
• Able and willing to manage junior developers
• Strong communication skills with both technical and non-technical stakeholders (including clients) to understand their points of view and to discuss your own ideas
• Entrepreneurial mindset
• Familiarity with docker, kubernetes and terraform is a plus
• Familiarity with billing systems, CPQ and accounting systems is a plus
• Self driven individual with high ownership and strong work ethic
• Not taking yourself too seriously 🙂

Compensation

• Fixed: INR 30 – 37 lacs
• ESOPs
