Roles & Responsibilities:

  • Assist in the analysis and interpretation of structured and unstructured data to support business decisions and operational improvements.
  • Collaborate with team members and stakeholders to understand business requirements and contribute to the design, develop and maintenance of basic data pipelines, models, and dashboards.
  • Support the development and enhancement of data infrastructure and analytical tools/product development under guidance from senior data scientists and LT teams.
  • Prepare and present clear, concise reports and visualizations to communicate findings to technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Follow technical best practices in coding, documentation, and version control to ensure reproducibility and scalability of analytics solutions.
  • Participate in Agile development cycles, contributing to design documentation, testing, and iterative improvements.

Skills and Competencies

  • Proficiency in Python, SQL, and python UI libraries like Dash/Streamlit.
  • Familiarity with data analytics and machine learning libraries (e.g., pandas, NumPy, Scikit-learn, TensorFlow).
  • Experience with data visualization tools and frameworks (e.g., Matplotlib, Tableau, Power BI).
  • Basic understanding of cloud platforms (e.g., Google Cloud Platform) and developer tools (e.g., Git, Docker).
  • Ability to communicate technical concepts clearly and effectively to team members and stakeholders.
  • Willingness to learn new technologies and adapt to evolving project requirements.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

Experience

  • Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related analytical discipline.
  • Internship or project experience in software engineering, data science, or analytics (e.g., AI-powered chatbot development, predictive modeling, data pipeline automation).
  • Exposure to real-world data challenges through academic projects, internships, or hackathons.
  • Experience working with large datasets and applying data preprocessing, feature extraction, and model training techniques.
  • Participation in open-source contributions is a plus.

Good to Have

  • Experience with frameworks such as React, Node.js, Flask, FastAPI, or LangChain.
  • Familiarity with MLOps concepts and tools (e.g., MLflow).
  • Exposure to cloud-based data solutions and scalable backend design.
  • Knowledge of digital analytics platforms and version control systems (e.g., GitHub).
  • Experience with GenAI frameworks like OpenAI, Claude, etc.
  • Strong interest in continuous learning and professional development.
